Jurnal Teknik Elekto dan Komputasi (ELKOM) is a journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember and managed by the Electrical Engineering Study Program. This journal was published for the first time in 2019 and is published every March and September. This journal has undergone changes in cover and template in the August 2019 issue.
2022
Jurnal Teknik Elekto dan Komputasi (ELKOM) Based on the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology Number: 5162/E4/AK.04/2021, Won Sinta Rank 5. Thus, Vol. 4 No. March 1, 2022 Changes were made to improve the quality of the journal, both in terms of adding Editors, Reviewers, and other changes such as the ELKOM Journal Template and Web Page.
2024
Jurnal Teknik Elekto dan Komputasi (ELKOM) is dedicated to the continuous improvement of scientific publication quality. Pursuant to the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology No. 1439/E5/DT.05.00/2024, ELKOM has officially upgraded its accreditation status from SINTA 5 to SINTA 4. This elevated ranking is effective starting from Vol. 5 No. 1 March 2023 through Vol. 9, No. 2 August 2027. This achievement serves as formal recognition of the journal's enhanced management standards and its commitment to publishing high-quality articles that contribute significantly to the fields of electrical and computer engineering.
2026
In line with efforts to modernize and enhance services for authors and readers, the Jurnal Teknik Elekto dan Komputasi (ELKOM) is transitioning its management system to Open Journal Systems (OJS) 3. Starting from the publication of Volume 8, Number 1, March 2026, all processes—including manuscript submission, peer review, and publication—will be conducted entirely through the OJS 3 platform. This migration aims to provide a more responsive interface, enhanced security features, and a more efficient user experience to support the broader dissemination of scientific work in the fields of electrical and computer engineering.
