Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections Policy - Jurnal Pengabdian Berbagi Manfaat
Jurnal Pengabdian Berbagi Manfaat welcomes post-publication critique, scientific debate, and constructive discussion to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and ongoing validity of published scholarly research. In compliance with the framework specified in the COPE Core Principles, the journal provides robust channels for post-publication evaluation and maintains transparent procedures for addressing substantive criticisms, corrections, or concerns regarding published articles[cite: 6].
Letters to the Editor and Academic Debate:
Readers, researchers, and community practitioners are encouraged to submit letters to the editor or formal comments raising substantive questions regarding the methodologies, data interpretation, or ethical aspects of published manuscripts[cite: 6]. Following the principles outlined in the COPE Core Practices, all valid critiques are shared with the original authors to allow them the opportunity to submit a formal response[cite: 6]. Both the critique and the author's response undergo rigorous editorial evaluation and may be published alongside each other to promote constructive scholarly dialogue[cite: 6].

Post-Publication Corrections and Amendments:
When honest errors, factual inaccuracies, or minor oversights are identified in published articles, Jurnal Pengabdian Berbagi Manfaat promptly issues formal notices to uphold the integrity of the permanent scientific record[cite: 6]. Adhering to the procedures in the COPE Guidance on Post-Publication Corrections, corrections are published through transparent notices (Corrigenda for author errors or Errata for publisher errors) that remain permanently linked to the original archived record via a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI)[cite: 6].

Expressions of Concern and Article Retractions:
In cases where serious ethical concerns, data fabrication, plagiarism, or invalid findings affect the fundamental reliability of a published article, the journal takes decisive action to protect the scholarly record[cite: 6]. Under the COPE Retraction Guidelines, the Editorial Board may publish an official Expression of Concern during ongoing investigations or issue a formal Article Retraction if misconduct or irreparable invalidity is confirmed[cite: 6]. Retraction notices clearly describe the reasons for retraction and maintain full public accessibility to ensure absolute editorial transparency[cite: 6].
