Belajar Bahasa: The scientific Journal of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program contains the results of research and / or literature studies in the fields of Indonesian language and literature education, Indonesian linguistic studies, and Indonesian literature.

Belajar Bahasa: The scientific Journal of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program publishes with a frequency of twice a year, in February and September.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
By "open access" to this literature, we mean its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.
The Scientific Publication Ethics of Belajar Bahasa: The scientific Journal of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program
Belajar Bahasa: The scientific Journal of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program publishes articles or scientific works from research in the field of education and Indonesian literature and managed by the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program and published by University of Muhammadiyah Jember with a frequency of twice a year, in February and September.
This code of ethics statement is a statement for all parties involved in the process of publishing scientific journals, namely managers, editors, best partners, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publication basically upholds three ethical values in publication; (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Justice, which is to give authorship rights to those who are entitled as authors; and (iii) Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.

Policy:
Belajar Bahasa: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia will use Turnitin software as the tool in detecting similarities of texts in article manuscripts and the final version articles ready for publication. A maximum of 20% of similarities is allowed for the submitted papers. Should we find more than 20% of the similarity index, the article will be returned to the author for correction and resubmission.
When plagiarism is identified, the Editor in Chief responsible for the review of this paper and will agree on measures according to the extent of plagiarism detected in the paper in agreement with the following guidelines:
Level of Plagiarism
1.Minor:
A short section of another article is plagiarized without any significant data or idea taken from the other paper
Action : A warning is given to the authors and a request to change the text and properly cite the original article is made
2.Intermediate: A significant portion of a paper is plagiarized without proper citation to the original paper
Action: The submitted article is rejected or warning is given to the authors and a request to change the text and properly cite the original article is made
3. Severe : A significant portion of a paper is plagiarized that involves reproducing original results or ideas presented in another publication
Action: The paper is rejected
