Focus and Scope
ELLITE Journal is an OPEN ACCESS journal aims to provide opportunity for research to publish research articles of analyses, studies, research reports, application of theories, material development, and reviews. The scopes of the journal cover English Language, English linguistics, English literature, and English teaching.
Authors are encouraged to publish their manuscripts on English linguistics fields, such as phonology, semantics, syntax, sociolinguistics, and other related fields of linguistics.
Manuscripts on English literature, encompassing those of American literature viewed from various aspects in literature are of this journal interest.
ELLITE Journal also publishes manuscripts on English teaching accross school levels. Fields of interest include instructional media, teaching and learning strategie, learner's differences, and best practices in language teaching.
Aims
ELLITE Journal aims to:
- Provide a scholarly, open-access platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to disseminate original research findings in the fields of English linguistics, English literature, and English language teaching.
- Promote and advance theoretical and empirical understanding of English linguistics, including but not limited to phonology, semantics, syntax, and sociolinguistics, by publishing rigorous and innovative studies.
- Foster critical engagement with English and American literature by encouraging analyses that explore diverse literary, cultural, and theoretical perspectives.
- Contribute to the improvement of English language teaching practices by publishing research on instructional media, teaching and learning strategies, learner diversity, and pedagogical innovations across school levels.
- Bridge the gap between theory and practice by encouraging the application of linguistic and pedagogical theories to real-world educational and communicative contexts.
- Support the development of a global scholarly community by facilitating open access to high-quality research, thereby enhancing visibility, accessibility, and impact of studies in English studies.
- Encourage interdisciplinary and comparative research that connects English linguistics, literature, and teaching with broader educational, cultural, and social issues.
