Gramatika Bahasa Indonesia dalam Praktik Campur Kode: Studi Kasus Rubrik Opini Jawa Pos dan Implikasinya bagi Standar Baku

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pola, bentuk, dan fungsi campur kode dalam rubrik Opini Jawa Pos sebagai praktik diskursif media massa nasional serta implikasinya terhadap standar kebahasaan dan literasi publik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, menjadikan artikel opini Jawa Pos edisi Juli 2025 sebagai unit analisis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan 1) mengumpulkan Opini Jawa Pos Edisi bulan Juli 2025 selama satu bulan 2) menentukan rubrik opini untuk dijadikan objek penelitian, 3) membaca rubrik opini, 4) menggarisbawahi pencampuran kode, 5) mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk pencampuran kode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa campur kode didominasi oleh kata dan frasa nominal bahasa Inggris yang bersifat terminologis, teknokratis, dan evaluatif, terutama pada isu literasi, pendidikan,  kebijakan  publik,  ekonomi  digital,  dan  politik  global.  Campur  kode  digunakan secara selektif dan terkontrol untuk mencapai presisi makna, membangun otoritas epistemik, serta meningkatkan daya persuasi argumentasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa campur kode dalam opini Jawa Pos merupakan bagian praktik gramatika bahasa, campur kode tidak hanya beroperasi pada tataran leksikal, tetapi juga berinteraksi dengan sistem morfologi dan sintaksis bahasa Indonesia. Selain itu media tidak bersifat acak atau deviatif, melainkan berfungsi sebagai strategi diskursif yang merefleksikan orientasi global dan ideologi bahasa media. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media massa berperan penting dalam menormalisasi praktik campur kode sekaligus  membentuk  sikap  publik  terhadap  bahasa  baku,  sehingga  diperlukan  kebijakan editorial yang adaptif dan reflektif agar keseimbangan antara keterbukaan global dan pemartabatan bahasa Indonesia tetap terjaga.
