About the Journal
MEDIAKOM: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is a peer-reviewed national journal in the field of communication studies, managed by the Communication Science Departemen and published twice a year by Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember.
This journal provides direct open access to its content based on the principle that making research findings freely available to the public supports broader global knowledge exchange.
The journal’s objective is to provide a platform for academics and practitioners to publish original research articles, article reviews, and book reviews.
Articles generally cover topics related to communication science in all its aspects. Scientific articles discussing communication science, journalism, public relations, marketing communications, and issues related to new media are highly encouraged. Mediakom is available in both print and online versions.
