Manuscript Type

Jurnal Penelitian IPTEKS welcomes the submission of high-quality scientific manuscripts that contribute significantly to the advancement of science, technology, and their applications. To accommodate diverse scientific contributions and ensure clear expectations for prospective authors, the journal considers the following types of manuscripts for publication:
  • Original Research Articles: Comprehensive and detailed reports presenting novel findings from original, empirical research. These manuscripts must provide sufficient methodology and data to allow for the replication of the study.
  • Review Articles: In-depth, critical, and objective evaluations of existing literature on a specific topic within the journal's scope. Reviews should summarize current knowledge, identify research gaps, and propose future research directions.
  • Short Communications: Brief, concise reports intended for the rapid publication of highly significant and novel preliminary findings, or the introduction of innovative methodologies that do not yet warrant a full-length research article.
Providing accessible, unambiguous, and detailed guidelines regarding the specific types of manuscripts considered for publication is a fundamental requirement for ethical publishing. This commitment to clarity ensures that authors fully understand the journal's scope and submission criteria, aligning strictly with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, which is highly endorsed and monitored by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Furthermore, regardless of the specific manuscript category being submitted, all documents will undergo the same rigorous, double-blind peer review process. All authors, irrespective of their chosen manuscript type, are required to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and scientific conduct, in full compliance with the overarching COPE Core Practices.
