Post Publication Discussion

Jurnal Penelitian IPTEKS strongly encourages ongoing scholarly debate and robust academic discussion following the publication of any research article. We welcome readers, researchers, and the broader academic community to engage in constructive critiques, submit letters to the editor, or provide formal comments regarding our published content. Facilitating an open platform for continuous academic evaluation is an essential mechanism for correcting, refining, and improving the scientific record, adhering strictly to the ethical standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding Post-publication Discussions and Corrections.
When valid concerns, methodological flaws, or potential ethical misconduct are brought to our attention through post-publication correspondence, the editorial board is committed to investigating these matters promptly, transparently, and objectively. We ensure that the authors of the original article are given a fair and timely opportunity to respond to any published critiques or inquiries. If a post-publication discussion reveals significant, proven errors or ethical breaches that alter the validity of the work, the journal will take appropriate corrective actions. These actions may include publishing errata, corrigenda, expressions of concern, or full article retractions, systematically following the protocols detailed in the COPE Retraction Guidelines.
By actively managing, moderating, and publishing these post-publication discussions and their subsequent resolutions, the journal demonstrates its unwavering commitment to maintaining the utmost integrity of the academic literature. This transparent handling of post-publication debate is a fundamental obligation of responsible scholarly publishing and is fully aligned with the overarching COPE Core Practices.
