Publication Frequency

Publication Frequency
ELLITE: English Language, Literature, and Teaching Journal is published biannually, specifically issuing its volumes twice a year in May and November. In accordance with COPE's principles for transparency and best practice in scholarly publishing, we ensure that our publishing schedule is clearly defined and communicated to authors, readers, and reviewers to establish a predictable timeline for all stakeholders (COPE Core Practices).

Commitment to Quality over Speed
Although the journal operates on a strict biannual publication schedule, we prioritize the rigor and quality of the manuscript evaluation process over rapid publication speed, aligning with COPE’s directives that a thorough and objective peer review must never be compromised simply to meet a publishing deadline (COPE Topic: Peer Review). Furthermore, the editorial team is fully responsible for actively monitoring the performance of the peer review and editorial processes to ensure timely issue releases in May and November without sacrificing ethical standards or editorial independence (COPE Topic: Journal Management).

Post-Publication Corrections and Integrity
Maintaining a regular and predictable publication frequency also provides a consistent, timely platform for issuing any necessary post-publication updates—such as corrections, errata, expressions of concern, or retractions—ensuring that the journal continuously maintains and rapidly corrects the integrity of the scholarly record as mandated by COPE (COPE Retraction Guidelines). By adhering to this scheduled release cycle, ELLITE guarantees that any necessary amendments to the published literature are disseminated transparently and systematically to the academic community (COPE Topic: Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections).
