About the Journal

INSIGHT: Jurnal Pemikiran dan Penelitian Psikologi is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember, Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to the advancement of psychological science through the publication of high-quality empirical research, theoretical and conceptual studies, literature reviews, and other scholarly works that contribute to the understanding of human behavior and psychological processes.

INSIGHT was first established in September 2005 and has continuously served as a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and students to disseminate scientific knowledge and engage in discussions on contemporary issues in psychology.

The journal publishes articles covering a broad range of psychological disciplines, including but not limited to educational psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, clinical and mental health psychology, industrial and organizational psychology, personality psychology, psychological assessment, counseling, health psychology, and other areas related to psychological science and practice.

INSIGHT particularly welcomes research that addresses emerging psychological issues and contributes to the development of evidence-based knowledge relevant to individuals, organizations, communities, and society. The journal encourages interdisciplinary perspectives and research that connects psychological theories and methods with real-world problems and societal needs.

INSIGHT is published twice a year, in April and October. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, methodological soundness, and scientific contribution of published articles. The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of research integrity, publication ethics, transparency, and academic quality in accordance with internationally recognized principles of scholarly publishing.

INSIGHT obtained its Print ISSN 1858-4063 and Electronic ISSN 2503-0949 based on Decree No. 0005.25030949/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2016.04, dated 11 April 2016, beginning with Volume 12, Number 1 (April 2016).

Through its publications, INSIGHT aims to contribute to the advancement of psychological knowledge and promote the application of psychological science for the betterment of individuals and society.
