Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of online game addiction on students’ sleep quality. The method used was a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis design. The sample consisted of 200 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments included an online game addiction scale and a sleep quality scale. Based on the results of the regression analysis, a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) was obtained, indicating a significant effect of online game addiction on students’ sleep quality. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.488 indicates that 48.8% of the variance in sleep quality can be explained by online game addiction, while the remaining variance is influenced by other factors. These findings suggest that the higher the level of online game addiction, the poorer the students’ sleep quality.
