OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
Tarlim Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is formally owned, published, and financially supported by the Faculty of Islamic Religion (Fakultas Agama Islam), Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember. In strict adherence to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, we clearly declare this institutional ownership to ensure that authors, reviewers, and readers have full visibility into the journal's foundational backing. This transparency guarantees that the academic community is fully aware of the organizational structure supporting the journal's publication of Islamic educational research.
Editorial Independence
Although the journal is owned and funded by Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember, the university administration has absolutely no influence over the editorial decision-making process. The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board operate with complete autonomy. Decisions to accept or reject manuscripts are based entirely on the academic merit, scientific validity, and relevance of the research to the field of Islamic education, independent of the publisher's commercial, financial, or political interests. This structural separation is maintained to ensure robust journal management and editorial independence.
Governing Body and Advisory Board
The journal is guided by an international Editorial Board and an Advisory Board comprised of recognized experts in pedagogy, Islamic philosophy, and curriculum development. The complete names, academic affiliations, and professional credentials of all board members are clearly listed on the journal's 'Editorial Team' page. The journal's management explicitly ensures that these individuals genuinely contribute to the journal's academic scope and actively participate in maintaining its ethical standards.
Management and Funding Transparency
The journal's business models, publication fees (Article Processing Charges), and funding sources are completely transparent and explicitly stated on the website. We guarantee that the ability to pay publication fees does not, in any way, influence the editorial evaluation or peer review outcomes. Tarlim's management framework is fundamentally designed to support scholarly integrity, actively preventing any form of predatory publishing practices by separating financial operations from academic peer review.
